Metric Linear Voice Coil

Moticont announced it has added metric dimensioned motors to its LVCM Series of linear voice coil actuators, including the miniature LVCM-022-013-01M. At 22.2mm (0.875 in.) in diameter and at mid-stroke just 20.7mm (0.81 in.) long, the actuator model has a continuous force of 4.0N (14.5 oz) and a peak force of 12.7N (45.7 oz) and features a 6.4mm (0.25 in.) stroke. A true miniature brushless DC servo motor, the unit has two M3X0.5 threaded mounting holes in the housing at each end and two M3X0.5 threaded mounting holes in the coil end on 9.5mm (0.375 in.) centers for integration into new and existing applications. A complete plug-and-play servo controller is also available.
